NOTE: This post may get a little bit more descriptive than you are interested in reading, just know I warned you.
I’m writing this message hungry, thirsty and in pain. But let me start at the beginning…
Yesterday I had a class canceled because my Phisics teacher was out sick so I was able to meet Kerry at her work for lunch. Kerry is a teacher at a preschool, and her kids are all pre-walking and pre-talking. I spent a little bit of time with her and her kids, some of them are pretty cute and playful.
Anyway, after sharing a lunch, I headed home to take a nap (I had only had 4 hours of sleep that night) and to start studying for the Physics Exam that was this morning. I got a little bit of studying in, and decided to not stay up late so I would be well rested for the exam. This is the turning point in my little tale. This morning I awoke at about 3am feeling queasy. Now I’ve only felt this way one other time so I was a little unsure of it, but decided I should go make a trip to the bathroom, turned out to be a good plan. Hovering over a toilet seat is never fun, but when you have an exam later that morning you really start to worry. After I had finished with my head over the toilet I quickly realized that … how do I say this nicely … I was in an immediate need to sit also
.
probably about 20 minutes after I had first awoke I was done and my mind was racing to figure out what was wrong with me. And my first though, the one that made the most sense was that when I shared lunch with Kerry I got a Wonton with some bad crab in it. Good, I had figured it out, taken care of it and maybe now I could get back to bed and rest.
WRONG
I have not slept more than 30 minutes straight since 3am and I have I egressed the pizza from the night before. And the lunch before that. I egressed a box of Milk Duds from the sixth grade. I have egressed stuff that did not even want to be egressed. Just in the time its taken me to write this I’ve made several trips to the bathroom.
Needless to say I had to skip my Physics Exam. The teacher does drop the lowest test score for these exact reasons but he will not offer any kind of make up exam. As well I took a sick day from work. I’m finally to the point where I can stand up without getting dizzy or queasy. I think I’m over the hump.
I talked to Kerry a little while ago while she was on her lunch break, and it turns out that it wasn’t bad crab, but rather all her kids had the same sort of thing. Mystery solved, and future solution, don’t ever visit Kerry at work again
