Its official … I am burnt out on this project management software, at least for the time being. The real question is, am I burnt crispy and going to struggle to get anything done, or is it just a phase that will pass if I just let it go for a little bit. Only time will tell. In either case I’ve still got to finish the project before mid August at the latest. At that point I go back to School and my working schedule takes a hit.
I think what is killing me is that this system is supposed to do a lot of things, and at the same time be easy enough to use for someone who barely knows how to use Word. Its a horribly frustrating beast to tame. And when I can’t even get a solid definition of the requirements it only makes my job that much harder. There is absolutely no consistency in the billing practices here, something that will be changing when this program is done, whether they like it or not.
Blah … I should get back to it and stop dicking around.
