Jumpcut was bought by Yahoo! and eventually shut down. The video that used to be embedded here no longer exist.
The thunder and lighting really picked up at one point, so I grabbed the video camera and set it on a tripod outside pointing at the sky. I only got about 15 minutes of film before it started raining again. Its not the best video camera, but I was able to pick up a couple good strikes. There is also a video of all the strikes put together. The video is a compilation of all the decent strikes that I got, played back at 1/8th speed so you can actually see the strikes. Since at 1/8th speed the sound is nothing but a low hum, I removed it to help save bandwidth. All of these were within 15 minutes!
