My third migration from ZeroForum to phpBB. The second for Matt, and this one was a long time coming. I think I promised him I would do it like a month ago and it just kept getting pushed back. The third migration I did has since been migrated again to vBulletin. I’m getting pretty good at it now though. Good enough that it only takes me a couple hours to get everything migrated and checked. I still have some changes that need to be made to phpBB to allow the HTML in the posts that are from ZeroForum, while HTML is off for the rest of the site. As well as a few other quirks that have to be ironed out. But at least everything important is migrated and the site is in use.
Chadd told me that I had been slacking in my blogging, and perhaps I have, but you get what you pay for I suppose
. I won’t be making any promises to start blogging more, because I have no clue if I can hold them. But I will say that I’m taking an extremely light load this semester at school, a single online history class. However the tradeoff is that I’m working 10 hour days Mon – Thurs. So I’m not really sure if I’ll have anymore free time during the week than I would have otherwise, but my weekends will be blissfully more free. No more math or science homework sucking up weekends! Woohoo! For now though I’ll catch you up
I got a new bed over the MLK holiday; it is a glorious thing to be able to sleep without my feet hanging over the edge of the bed. I’ve got a Queen now, and it takes up more of my room, but I still have more floor space than I did at home. Its still in the same position as my previous bed, it just sticks out further into the room. My Mom and Dad helped me get it down here (thanks!) and my Mom suggested rotating the bed, but it stuck out to far into the room and blocked easy access to the closet. The mattress has a pillow top with a layer of memory foam underneath so it is a dream to sleep in. I also got a down-alternative comforter half off to add to the comfy-ness. I might just go to bed early tonight
