Man, what a day I absolutely cannot wait until midday Wednesday next week, then I will be done with my finals and the insanity of the last week. I took my Physics test this morning. It went ok, but not as well as I had hoped. Probably mid ‘C’ range . So that just means that I’ll have to pick up the slack on the final. So guess what I get to do for the next 4 days … STUDY!! blah…
After the test I came to work and we started to move our networking switch and patch panel. The suite we are in originally included another suite, and the two were separated right before we moved in. Unfortunately all our phone and network stuff stayed in a closet in the other suite. So after 4 years of being in the building we finally moved the suite. It took 10 hours …
So for 10 hours I’ve been running around the office, tracing wires with a toner, then once we got them puched down, I went around again to all 48 receptacles to check the connection.
I’m taking tomorrow off of work (but not study, for at least half the day) for my birthday, but I’ll be back in the office on Sunday to patch all the connections between the switch and the patch panel. I’ve only got about 8 wires right now of decent length, and even those are 3 feet so I’ll be buying a whole bunch tomorrow.
Anyway I’m out, just wanted to sit down for a min and “get the lead outâ€
