Happy Birthday Keith

My little bro turned 21, actually on Wednesday. But today we had a party for him.

It ended up being a much smaller party than I had expected. We broke the day up into two parties actaully. One started at 4pm and consisted mostly of family and close friends. Then later (around 8) after most of the family had left, a few more friends showed up for a younger party.

I was bartender for the night and actually learned a few drinks that I would HIGHLY recomend to anybody. Without a doubt the #1 drink of the night was the Oatmeal Cookie. Just mix equal parts of the following ingredients together in a shaker with some ice. Shake to your delight and enjoy. Just a warning, its a really sweet drink, so serve as cold as possible, and no more than 4 oz at a time:

  • Butterscotch Snapps
  • Irish Cream (Bailies)
  • Goldschlager (40% ABV) OR Hot Damn (15% ABV)

There ended up being way less people at the late party than expected. A lot of people (like 15) told us they would be there then never showed up. But we still had fun in a smaller group. I think keith had fun so thats what really matters.
